The Squires family have owned Ardlui since 1978, with Scott, Glenn & Dale working together as the third generation.

Brian Squires
Ardlui is the product of a life of work and passion for Brian Squires. 11 years old when he first arrived with his parents, he has lived and worked at Ardlui ever since. He is responsible for the development of the hotel, marina & holiday home park. More recently the luxury lochside lodges.

Brian is the head of the family, over-seeing all aspects of the family business.

Anne Squires
Behind every great man there is a great women! This can certainly be said for Anne. Responsible for the fabulous array of home made foods available on the menu, she takes pride in making sure you receive a good healthy meal. You won't leave the restaurant still feeling hungry.

Scott Squires
Is the eldest of the three children, so you know what that means in the family business! The general dogs body! I am mainly responsible for the day to day general management of the company. You will normally find Scott at the restaurant or bar keeping up with the PR side of the business. Scott is the one to tell if you have had a great stay at Ardlui, and he is also the person to see if you are not happy with something.

Glenn Squires
Glenn runs the manual labour side of Ardlui. This includes responsibility for ground maintenance and keeping the place looking good. Ardlui is continually changing and improving so Glenn is never short of things to-do!

Dale Squires
Dale is the baby of the family. So it's her job to open the hotel in the morning and make sure you get a 'proper' full Scottish Breakfast to help see you through the rest of your day. If you pop back in later for some lunch, she will more than likely be there to look after you too.
